COVID-19 SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
We are in uncertain times, and everything from going to the store, to adjusting to new work environments, to traveling, to planning childcare takes complex thought and diligent execution. Planning a photography session or event can feel a bit overwhelming during these times too. We’ve put together an outline of Covid-19 related safety precautions for our clients. 
Here’s the most important thing you need to know: The health and safety of our clients is our #1 priority. Because of that, we have put into place new safety protocols that are solely based on science and data to protect you, protect us, and help to mitigate the spread of the virus. We are closely following the guidelines put forth by the  Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local authorities in order to make your photography session/event safe and enjoyable. Read below for specifics on the session protocol and please contact us with any questions or concerns.
Health Measures
The staff and our families are practicing social distancing and we wear masks when in public. We will be taking our temperatures before each session/event. If any staff member is even slightly concerned about our health (or that of our families) we will postpone your session for a later date at no charge to you.
Outdoor Sessions
Unless otherwise arranged, all sessions (weather permitting) will be held outdoors in order to minimize contact and capitalize on fresh air. Good thing for us, there’s no shortage of stunning outdoor locations for us to choose from! Social distancing and safety protocols will be diligently followed.

Indoor Events
When the weather does not afford us the luxury of utilizing the outdoors, social distancing and safety protocols will be diligently followed according to state and local ordinances. We will also follow the state and local authorities’ Covid-19 requirements for gatherings in indoor social settings. If the client(s) is/are not following the state and local authorities’ Covid-19 requirements, we reserve the right to withdraw the participation in the session/event, and the client(s) forfeits his/her/their payment.
Masks, Gloves, and Sanitizing
We will be wearing disposable gloves, masks, and face shields for the duration of your session/event. Whenever possible, we will keep at least a 6-foot distance from you, as recommended by the CDC. We will also have hand sanitizer with us and available for use throughout your session. Photography equipment, backgrounds, and props
are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each session.
No Personal Contact Policy
As much as we love and wish we could give each of you a giant hug or high five – we will refrain from any person-to-person contact during our session. We are open to socially distanced air hugs.
Payments Due
At this time, there will be no payment of fees (including bank checks and money orders) at sessions/events. All funds due must be paid in full online or mailed to our mailing address and received before our session commences.

Sick Policy
Here’s where we need your help. Please acknowledge that you will observe a strict sick policy. This means that you will contact us as soon as you or anyone in your party tests positive for Covid-19 or feels ill within 14 days of your session. Symptoms include but are not limited to: fever, cough, shortness of breath/difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, loss of smell/taste, etc. 
You also acknowledge that you will notify us if you traveled to a country and/or state on the state’s watchlist, come into contact with any known/suspected exposure to Covid-19, or exposure to anyone experiencing the symptoms listed above.
Stopping the spread of this pandemic takes a collective group effort. We are in this together!
